Our Story
"Pimero" comes from "Pimer", a phrase from the Alur culture in Uganda, Africa that means "for love".
As women, our bodies go through a lot of changes, especially after child birth. With such a transformation, our bodies deserve a little TLC. I found that the high waist panties gave my body a little groove back and the confidence I needed to enjoy my postpartum body. I enjoyed the high waist panties, and I figured I must share with other women out there, afterall shared joy is double joy. Just like that, in 2021, with inspiration from my daughter Pimer and support from my family, Pimer Effect was born; with the women high waist tummy control panties as our first collection.
In the early 2022, Pimer Effect rebranded to Pimero Effect for easier pronunciation per our customers suggestion. Pimero Effect obtained more collections that added a touch of Africa, our motherland and showcased the beautiful African kitenge and Ugandan kikoyi fabrics. We hope to bring you closer to home by adding each African country's respective fabric to our future collections at Pimero Effect.
